Church today was really great. Other than Lacey being sick with double ear infections and a sore throat, the morning went fairly well. I oh so nervously gave the lesson in Relief Society. I will do better next time - I'll slow down and be calmer I think! I enjoyed the testimonies. I think we, as women, seek and appreciate the role of friendship in our lives. I can't even number the amount of times something has happened to me over the past 6 six years when the first thought that went through my brain was, "Oh man, I gotta call Cindy!" hehe In the end we all need a listening ear and someone to make us feel like we are of worth. I hope to cultivate the precious friendships that I have and maybe gain a few new buddies this year.
Here are a few photos of Lacey in her "vintage baby" dress. She felt so bad this morning I was lucky to get any photos at all!

you and i both taught RS today :) i heard you did a wonderful job from valencia :)
How Sweet!! (the pictures)!!
I enjoyed the lesson yesterday in Relief Society. I agree with you so much on the "work" part. My kids think I'm pretty bad at times because they all had to work at home and places of employment. That was the deal if they wanted their drivers' license they had to pay their own insurance. Most kids today think that driving is a right not a priviledge, but now that they're older they really do appreciate as you taught on Sunday. Thanks again-great job!
I think you did a fabulous job of teaching the lesson Sunday. To me, you didn't see nervous at all, just enthusiastic about the topic. I think we're all looking forward to learning more about Joseph Smith this year after your introduction to his life.
I enjoyed RS and the testimonies so much Sunday that I went right home and blogged about it while dinner was simmering. That afternoon I went to the library where I ran into Shawna, and we had a great chat about how wonderful that organization it.
